No room use a combi boiler
If you have a storage space issue in your dwelling house you should study installing a combination heating boiler. You only need a combination gas boiler and balanced flue to set up a full central heating system without any other pieces. To complete the heating you just need radiators, the necessary fittings and a quantity of copper pipe. Your first thought could be astonished and considered that some parts had been left out from the system. The hot water storage cylinder, the feed and expansion cylinder ordinarily put in the attic, the central heating pump and other component component parts that central heating and hot water systems seem to need.
If you have a contemporary combination boiler it will not require any of these incremental components. You do not need to buy a hot water storage cylinder, the feed and enlargement tank can be left out of the attic, and the other small-scale elements are already built into the boiler. As a consequence you can save a substantial amount of space in your house.
Combination heating boilers have been fitted for a while. Whilst they were first set up in the Continent they are now a very popular heating boiler for installation in the United Kingdom. By comparison with orthodox gas boilers you will see that there are two major differences. The first is that hot water circles around a sealed system when heating the central heating. Having no open outlets there is no need for a feed and expansion cylinder in the loft. Incorporation of a hot water storage vessel within the gas boiler also removes any need for the hot water storage tank.
As hot water is needed it is produced right away by the gas boiler, turning on a hot water signals this demand to the heating boiler. An efficient internal heat exchanger is used to quickly heat up cold water. The heat exchanger is heated by clever use of the existing hot water in the central heating system. This allows for cold mains water to be rapidly heated before leaving the hot water valve.
Automated priority is established to the requirement for hot water over water being furnished to the radiators to heat the household. The radiators are provided with hot water once the tap is closed.
If you do have a storage space issue in your household you should give critical thought to installing a combi gas boiler when you next exchange your gas boiler.
